Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani participated this Friday in the 6th Summit of the European Political Community held in Tirana, where she also held a meeting with the EU High Representative, Kaja Kallas.

Osmani shared the news in a Facebook post, stating that since she will be abroad on a pre-scheduled state visit during Kallas’s upcoming visit to Kosovo next week, they held their meeting in Tirana instead.

“It was a pleasure to meet with the EU High Representative, Kaja Kallas, a longstanding supporter of a secure and united Europe. Since I will be on an official visit abroad during her visit to Kosovo next week, we held our meeting here in Tirana.

Kosovo is ready for the next step on its path toward the European Union. It is time for the EU to respond to this moment with courage, clarity, and determination—qualities that define High Representative Kallas’s leadership,” Osmani wrote.
