Hola amigos, the Travel Guides have touched down in Spain!
With its long, fascinating history and incredible cuisine, its no wonder Spain is the second most visited country in the world.

After a day in Madrid exploring the sites and filling their tummys, the guides jumped on a very luxe coach tour around Spain and Portugal.
Their first stop was the city of Granada, set in the foot of the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
With its stunning vistas and unique mix of cultures, religions and architecture, Granada took the lucky travellers’ breath away.

After checking into their accommodation, they head to the city’s most popular attraction – the Alhambra. First built as a fortress more than 1100 years ago, the giant complex now welcomes around three million visitors a year.
“The Alhambra is probably the most iconic tourist site in all of Spain,” Matt explained.

The guides, Matt and partner Brett, besties Karly and Bri, “travel snobs” Kevin and Janetta, best mates Kev, Dorian and Teng, and the Fren Family, could all see why.
“This is one of the most beautiful gardens I’ve seen anywhere in Europe,” Janetta gushed as she wandered around one of the site’s many grounds.

“What we saw when we went through the gates of Alhambra was a place so beautiful,” Kevin agreed.
“It hit us in that very moment that we are somewhere very special and significant,” Bri shared.

Although, not all the sights were as impressive.
“In true European style, it wasn’t working that day,” Matt explained of a fountain in the ‘Court of Lions’.
Perhaps the highlight was a 180 degree view over the entire city of Granada from the fortress walls, which for Kevin completely justified why people would travel just to see it.

“It’s an incredible place. If you’re going to Spain, go to Granada, the city’s beautiful and the Alhambra will blow you away,” Kevin sid.
“Alhambra is absolutely a must-do,” Janetta agreed.
