Thailand’s economy will slow sharply in the third and fourth quarters this year, Finance Minister Pichai Chunhavajira told reporters on Monday.
Earlier in the day, data showed the economy grew faster than expected in the first quarter of 2025, but the state planning agency slashed its full-year growth and trade forecasts as U.S. tariffs threaten the country’s export engine.
