About Maddie And Tae

Maddie Font and Taylor Kerr, better known as Maddie & Tae, are really in the thick of it these days as they balance their ever-growing music careers with their ever-growing families. Both of them now have young kids, even as they find themselves touring, recording, and playing to bigger and bigger crowds. Their new album, “Love and Light”, not only touches on the current season of their life and the depths of their friendship, but it also expands their sound into new territory. As they said on this show in 2022, they’ve been performing together since they were 15, and they’ve never been afraid to take a risk or challenge the establishment.

Quotes From Maddie and Tae

“And so, our goal was just to make music that we love, that we identify with, that we connect with, and also, no one knows our fan base like we do, and so we trusted ourselves. I think this was the first record where we were not doubting, not overthinking everything like we normally do. And I don’t know if that’s years of experience and, you know, this is the fourth album.” – Maddie Font

“I think all of us have this inner voice that maybe says something mean, like my inner voice, I have really had to work on her, ’cause damn, she was mean for a long time (laughs), just beating myself up all the time. But, well a thing that I notice myself feeling a lot is like, I just don’t feel enough… I’m showing up 110% as much as I possibly can, and I think my goal or my dream for “Chasing Babies, Raising Dreams” is that people with kids or without, they understand what it feels like to not feel enough and just be reminded that we all feel that way, but it’s not true. I get chills literally thinking about it.” – Taylor Kerr
