PRISTINA (Kosovo), May 22 (SeeNews) – Kosovo’s unemployment rate inched down to 10.8% in 2024 from 10.9% in the previous year, the country’s statistical agency, ASK, said on Thursday.
In 2024, the unemployment rate was 18% among women and 7.7% among men, ASK said in a labour force survey.
The unemployment rate among those aged 15–24 increased to 19.5% in 2024, up from 17.3% in 2023.
The employment rate among people aged 15 to 64 years expanded to 38.6% in 2024, from 36.3% in the previous year.
Kosovo has a population of around 1.59 million, ASK said in July last year.
