New Zealand businesses gain simplified access to EV fleet charging with Z’s latest digital tools.
Z Energy has launched a new electric vehicle (EV) charge card and a digital portal designed to streamline EV fleet management for business customers.
The initiative marks a significant step in helping companies transition to electric mobility with ease and efficiency. Newly introduced Z charge card features tap-and-go functionality and is now available to all eligible business customers nationwide.
Complementing the charge card is the launch of Business Charging Online, a new platform that enables companies to centrally manage EV charging across their fleet. Businesses can assign cards to individual drivers or vehicles, order replacements, and suspend or cancel cards—all from a single dashboard.
“Our focus is on helping make the transition to EVs practical and efficient for our customers by continuing to provide unique solutions to meet the needs of companies of all sizes,” said Rebecca Wilson, Head of Energy Business Solutions at Z.
Z currently owns and operates 179 public charging bays across 55 Z sites, from Taipa in the upper North Island to Queenstown in the lower South Island.
The rollout of these new business charging services reflects Z’s broader commitment to enabling New Zealand’s energy transition.
