Actress Katherine Kelly Lang, 63, turned heads with her first Cannes appearance.

Lang appeared on the red carpet in promotion of the 2025 film The Mastermind written and directed by Kelly Reichardt. The feature film stars Josh O’Connor, Alana Haim, Hope Davis, John Magaro, and Bill Camp. The actress wore a stunning black evening gown, combining elegance with glamour. The form-fitting dress was intricately embellished with black beading and sequins, and was accessorized with subtle jewelry to complement the dress.
Lang shared on her Instagram that she would be attending Cannes with a recent post. Captioning the photo “En route pour Cannes… my very first Cannes Film Festival! À très bientôt—see you next week! 💋🇫🇷 #CannesFilmFestival”
Lang recently took to Instagram to announce her own upcoming film, Beyond the Lens: Katherine Kelly Lang, which is described as a short fashion film.
Posting a short announcement teaser trailer, Lang narrates the project stating, “When you are in front of the camera, you are not just a body, you are energy, you are your story.”
Lang commented on her post, “Kicking off a new Instagram series. This one’s personal—fashion, film, and a window into my world. Tell me what speaks to you!”
The film is directed by Matteo Poddie, executive produced by Alessio Filippelli, with photography by Raffaele Cerracchio, makeup by Federica Pazzaglia, and set design by Jeremy Snider.
Looking back on her time on The Bold and the Beautiful, Lang recently spoke with Numéro Netherlands. Reflecting on what she thinks keeps her character and the show relevant to viewers after all of this time, the actress shared, “The secret to enduring success is a melange of a lot of different elements. ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ head writer Brad Bell knows how to strike a balance between keeping the show new and exciting and also giving the viewers the same great stories they’ve always known and loved. The show is about a glamorous, successful fashion family in Los Angeles. The characters are unforgettable, and the plot twists are jaw-dropping. The fashion featured on the show is gorgeous, and there are a lot of mysteries. You never know when one of the many delicious secrets will be compromised and then which lives will be shattered. Through it all, Brooke has a heart of gold, and no matter what, the Forrester Family always triumphs.”
