A change in weather is expected Sunday across western, central, and northern parts of Greece, gradually extending to other regions. The forecast includes rain, occasional thunderstorms, and strong winds.
Temperatures are set to drop, especially in the country’s west, center, and north.
More intense weather conditions are likely in parts of the central mainland, particularly Thessaly, and northern Evia from early Sunday afternoon through the evening.
The central Macedonian region in the country’s north is also forecast to experience a weather shift from early afternoon until late at night, while the Sporades islands are expected to be affected in the evening and nighttime hours.
Elsewhere in the country, periods of increased cloudiness, local showers, and isolated thunderstorms are forecast.
Weather conditions are expected to improve in western regions by the evening.
Atmospheric conditions will also support the dispersion of African dust, mainly in eastern and southern areas.
