Today, North Macedonia will hold auditions to select its participant in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
Auditions will be held today at the MRT Studios in Skopje to select the North Macedonian entrant for Junior Eurovision. Singers were invited to apply to represent their country in Tbilisi, with the application process closing on May 25.
The audition participants will perform two songs of their own choice. The jury that will select the North Macedonian representative will assess participants on:
- Their vocal performance
- Their stage performance included the use of the stage, emotions, movement and establishing contact with the audience
- The naturalness of the expression, stage presence and the full artistic interpretation of the composition will be valued
North Macedonia is expected to announce its participant for Junior Eurovision in the week following the in-person auditions. Last year, Ana and Aleksej were formally announced by MRT exactly one week after auditions were held.
Ana and Aleksej represented North Macedonia at the 2024 contest in Madrid, Spain. With their song “Marathon”, they finished in 16th place with 54 points.
