The annual inflation rate in Bosnia and Herzegovina rose by 3.4% year-on-year in April 2025 from a three-month low of 3.2% in the previous month.

Prices increase mainly for food and non-alcoholic beverages (8.9% vs 7.8% in March), housing and utilities (1% vs 0.6%), and recreation and culture (3.3% vs 3.1%).

At the same time, costs declined at a slower pace for clothing and footwear (-8.5% vs -9.2%) and furnishings & household equipment (-0.6% vs -1.2%).

On the other hand, inflation moderated for miscellaneous goods and services (2.7% vs 2.8%), while it decreased further for transport (-5.6% vs -3.1%).

On a monthly basis, consumer prices advanced by 0.3% in April, after a flat reading in the preceding period.
