Muharremi: 35% of employees in Kosovo are being put at risk by wrong government decisions

Economic policy expert Shenoll Muharremi said that approximately 35% of employees in Kosovo, or over 1/3, are being put at risk by wrong government decisions without being prepared for them, with companies employing around 143 people.
Shenolli quoted representatives of producers and businesses at “Rubikon” in Klan Kosova, saying that the percentage of energy in operating costs is currently around 10 percent on average, after June 1 the cost of energy in producers’ operations will go to 25 percent of the total cost and that the cost of energy in producers’ operations is increasing to 150 percent.
Full Muharram post:
I am listening to the representatives of producers and businesses in Rubicon. They are saying:
-The percentage of energy in operating costs is currently around 10% on average.
-After the increase (entering the market without preparation and without competition), after June 1, the cost of energy in producers’ operations will reach 25% of the total cost.
-This increase in energy costs in manufacturing operations is increasing by 150%.
These companies employ around 143,000 people. This means that approximately 35% of employees in Kosovo (over 1/3) are at risk of making wrong decisions without being prepared for them.
