Industrial production in North Macedonia grew by 1.4% year-on-year in April 2025, easing sharply from a 5.2% rise in the previous month.

Manufacturing production growth slowed (2.5% vs 4.8% in March), while output for electricity, gas, steam & air conditioning supply plunged (-18.3% vs 12.9%).

Output for mining and quarrying also dropped, albeit at a softer pace (-1.2% vs -1.5%).

Considering the first four months of the year, industrial production was 1.8% higher compared to the same period last year.
