The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Greece fell to 8.4% in April 2025, from a downwardly revised 8.9% in the previous month.
This marked the lowest reading since November 2008, as the number of unemployed individuals dropped by 26.9 thousand from a month earlier to 391.3 thousand.
Meanwhile, employment rose by 28.1 thousand month-on-month to 4.31 million in April.
Additionally, the number of people outside the labour force decreased by 3.6 thousand to 3.050 million.
