The coach of the Kosovo A National Team, Franco Foda, at the press conference held today, spoke about the Dardanelles’ next squad for this month’s two friendly matches against Armenia (June 6) and Comoros (June 9).
He stressed the importance of these challenges as part of preparations for the 2026 World Cup qualifying cycle, which begins in September.
In addition to the full list, Foda has also published a list of ‘reserve’ players who are waiting to be called up if any injuries occur.
Of the 10 footballers on the Waiting List, four of them are from the Kosovo Super League.
Goalkeeper Ilir Avdyli from Malisheva, two talents from Llapi, Elvir Gashijani and Arian Hasani, and top defender from Pristina, Roni Raçi.
The list also includes names like Art Smakaj, Qëndrim Zyba, Kreshnik Krasniqi, Leard Sadriu and Astrit Selmani.
The first training session of the National Team for these two challenges will take place today at 17:00 at the National Camp in Hajvali.
