Almadía Day in Burgui, Navarra

Hello! I am Asier Sánchez, an amateur photographer of Navarra. I am starting to photograph more cultural events, and I wanted to make this little event known (although quite popular in Navarra) that is celebrated every year.

In this event, held in the town of Burgui approximately the first weekend of May, among other things is made, a demonstration of cleaning of garments in a traditional way, and the descent of the almadías as the main attraction, this being the way in which wood was transported downstairs traditionally.
