NATO’s mission in Kosovo, KFOR, will conduct joint training activities with EULEX and the Kosovo Police. The exercise, called Golden Sword 2025,will take place at Camp Vrellë on June 9 and 10, 2025.

For the first time, the Kosovo Security Force will also take part.

“The exercise will test crisis management procedures in different security scenarios. It will help improve the ability of various actors to work together,” KFOR announced.

Over 600 personnel will participate, according to the statement.

Golden Sword 2025is a clear sign of strong, long-term cooperation between KFOR, EULEX, and the Kosovo Police. For the first time, the Kosovo Security Force will join the exercise as well. It will do so in line with its original civil protection mandate. Training will focus on the safe handling and disposal of explosive devices and hazardous materials.
