Former senior US State Department official Philip Reeker has said that it is a real shame what is currently happening in Kosovo, where political parties are unable to find common ground to elect the country’s new institutions after the February 9 elections, Express writes.
Reeker said that the people of Kosovo deserve better and a solution must be found to have new institutions, good governance, the rule of law and good relations with neighbors.
“The people of Kosovo deserve more than that. We have supported Kosovo and have made efforts to find peaceful solutions. The people deserve better, they need to find solutions to have good governance, the rule of law and to have good relations with neighbors in the region and to move forward,” he told Kosovo Online, according to Express.
