Bahtiri posts a photo on Facebook while writing about the political impasse: Enough is enough, Kosovo is not a political toy

Vetëvendosje Movement MP Agim Bahtiri asked, “Is there anything more shameful than an Assembly with 100 Albanian MPs that fails to elect the institutions of its own state?” in a Facebook post, to which he attached a photo of himself.

“Enough is enough! The Kosovo Assembly has become a hostage. A hostage of anger. A hostage of scores. A hostage of those who do not care about the state. Enough! Citizens did not vote for a blockade, but for hope. Not for silence, but for a strong voice. Not for bargaining, but for the state,” Bahtiri wrote.

He called the failure to reconstitute the Assembly a “historical shame,” while addressing the opposition.

“I address the opposition: Reflect or be responsible for this historical shame! Is there anything more shameful than an Assembly with 100 Albanian deputies that fails to elect the institutions of its own state?” “Kosovo is not a political toy. Kosovo is the legacy of our ancestors, who died with their eyes open to see the freedom of this land that they washed with blood!”, wrote the MP.
