The Kosovo Police, through a media release, announced that, based on the decision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, procedures have been initiated for NV to be forcibly removed from the territory of Kosovo after his citizenship was revoked, Express writes.

This is NV, a former citizen of Kosovo who was at the same time a member of Serbian intelligence and police.

 “The Directorate for Migration and Foreigners is conducting proceedings against the person in question based on the laws that regulate this issue and in this regard has issued a decision for the forced removal of the person NV from the territory of the Republic of Kosovo,” the announcement states.

The police have announced that until the completion of these procedures, in fulfillment of the conditions for the execution of the decision, the person in question has been detained in the Detention Center for Foreigners.

“The Kosovo Police will continue to carry out its constitutional and legal duties and implement the decisions of the country’s state institutions,” the announcement concludes. /Express/
