The frequent use of AI in the workplace has almost doubled over two years with the highest users in the technology, professional services and financial sectors, according to a Gallup survey released Monday.

    Frequent AI use, defined as using artificial intelligence a few times a week or more, rose from 11% to 19% since Gallup’s first estimated its prevalence in 2023. The increase is for mostly white-collar jobs, with 27% reporting frequent use. Such use is most common among “managers of managers,” at 33%.
