Franco Foda rejects Emirates offer, confirms Kosovo stance

Kosovo coach Franco Foda has decided to stay at the helm of the “Dardans”, rejecting an important offer from the United Arab Emirates.
The news was announced by Austrian media, while the coach himself confirmed his continued involvement with the Kosovo representative team.
In a statement to the Austrian newspaper “Krone”, Foda is quoted as saying:
“Our journey together is not yet complete because we want to achieve something good together.”
This statement comes as a clear signal of the German coach’s commitment to the project with Kosovo, at a time when the national team is preparing for important challenges towards World Cup qualifications.
Kosovo begins World Cup qualifiers in September, as it is in a group with Switzerland, Sweden and Slovenia.
