Music, entertainment and more will be free at this downtown festival.
MINNEAPOLIS — Do you like free music? And delicious food? Taste of Minnesota 2025 is bringing that and more to the upcoming festival.
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and Cheap Trick will headline the event Saturday and Ludacris and Nur-D will perform on Sunday. If music isn’t your thing, there will also be aerialists, puppies, inflatables and wrestling matches.
The event will take place in downtown Minneapolis along Washington Avenue and Nicollet Mall on July 5-6 from 12-10 p.m.
Tickets are free, but if you want a VIP cabana, those are $200.
If you are driving to the festival, organizers recommend parking in the Target Field and Target Center lots and then walking or taking the free light rail trip to reach Taste of Minnesota. SouthWest Transit and Metro Transit buses will also be a good option to get to the festival without the hassle of parking downtown.
