Michael J. Fox took on a new role that has left fans in tears. No, we aren’t talking about his upcoming stint on Shrinking Season 3.
The sitcom star teamed up with Boston Bruins player Charlie McAvoy to share some big news. They let fans know the Bruins have a new uniform design coming out, which is a nod to the ‘80s and ‘90s.
In the promotional video, Fox and McAvoy play on the actor’s Back to the Future days to spread the news. Fox’s long-time friend and Bruins’ president Cam Neel is also featured in the promo.
The footage contains many sentimental and emotional moments as the Bruins’ new jersey honors Fox. Once the video was released on Instagram, fans popped into the comments because the footage had them all in their feels.
“Oh I am CRYING THIS WAS EVERYTHING 😭❤️,” said a fan. One fan expressed, “Michael J.Fox 🤝🫶Bruins,” and a different fan wrote, “Awesome that the Bruins new jersey is honoring Michael J. Fox!!!”
Another fan stated, “That jersey is…pretty McFly.” Other comments included, “Hell yeah,” “Good stuff,” “Awesomeness 🥰,” and “love them.”
According to CBS News, the new Bruins jerseys are on sale now at TD Garden in Boston and online. Fox will soon begin filming Shrinking Season 3 with Harrison Ford and Jason Segel.
