Every June, the streets of the Historic District of La Orotava are transformed into authentic works of art. With volcanic sand of the Teide, flower petals and a lot of collective work, the neighbors create impressive ephemeral carpets to celebrate the Corpus Christi.

This year, the central uphill in the Town Hall Square measures more than 400 m² and the design is titled "At the doors of Paradise".

A unique tradition in the Canary Islands that deserves to be seen at least once in a lifetime.
