”Dead End”, 30-day deadline for the Parliament, Konjufca: We do not know what phase Kosovo will enter after July 26

Vetëvendosje MP Glauk Konjufca has spoken to the media regarding the Constitutional Court’s decision regarding the constitution of the Assembly, saying that “we cannot know” what phase Kosovo will enter after the 30-day deadline for the constitution of this institution expires, writes Gazeta Express.
He also said that the issue of constituting the Assembly is, according to their reading of the Constitutional Court’s decision, an obligation for everyone.
“It is not only the obligation of the winner of the elections, the Constitution said, according to our reading, so the obligation is everyone’s. Now what have the other parties done, to de-bloc the assembly. We have the LDK which has the most radical stance, which does not participate in any voting, but you also have the other entities that have given their proposals. The President of VV invited the heads of political entities to a meeting tomorrow so that a new attempt can be made,” he said.
He also said that according to him, the Constitutional Court has made it known to other parties that their actions could lead them to a ”dead end”.
”I saw some of the opinions yesterday, including those who consider themselves professionals. The reading and interpretation of VV is that through the proposal of a secret ballot for the speaker of the assembly, by Dehari, the court has not found any violation. All those who say that Dehari violated the Constitution through a secret ballot, I think that they are poor readers of the Constitutional Court’s judgment. They either have not read it themselves, or they interpret it incorrectly or interpret it with the interpretations of others. Now the question arises: When did Avni Dehari propose a secret ballot? He proposed it after several failures and by creating through his logic a rational conclusion that even if we went 100 more times, the Kosovo assembly would not be constituted. We cannot know what phase Kosovo will enter after July 26, we cannot know, we can only speculate. You cannot say that only VV, only these people have responsibility, and we do not vote for the speaker for these people alone. “The Constitutional Court has informed you that this is a dead end, if you act like this you have entered a dead end, because you are also forcing them to elect your vice presidents,” he said. /Express newspaper
