Petkovic met with Sorensen on Tuesday: I conveyed my serious concern about Kosovo’s escalating actions

Serbia’s chief negotiator in the dialogue with Kosovo, Petar Petkovic, announced that on Tuesday he met with the European Union’s special envoy for the dialogue, Peter Sorensen.

He wrote in X that he and the Danish diplomat talked “about continuing the dialogue at a technical level” between Kosovo and Serbia, as well as “about the need for normalization of relations and de-escalation on the ground.”

To Sorensen, Petkovic said he conveyed his “serious concern” about Kosovo’s “escalating” actions.

“I conveyed to him my serious concern due to the continuous deterioration of the position of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija as a result of many escalating actions by Pristina,” he wrote in X.
