So it had a makeshift gearstick. That’s one thing. It doesn’t constitute “more DIY than b&q”.
I was imagining a coat hanger for a steering wheel and planks for pedals.
Screwdriver gearstick is actually quite clever to be fair.
That’s a Snap On screwdriver. In a special edition colour no less. If someone is willing to use a €50 screwdriver as a gear stick, I’d bet that they have figured out how to attach it correctly.
Seems a bit extreme tbh
It’s unorthodox but it works, it’s not dangerous. Worst-case scenario it falls off and you just clutch in and bring the car to a stop.
Did the poor fucker dirty

That brings me back to the days before NCT, mothers mini had a piece of lino for a floor,
used to lift it up to see the road as you drove….
