North Macedonia’s annual inflation rate picked up to 4.5% in June 2025 from 3.3% in the previous month, marking the highest reading since February.
Main upward pressure came from prices of food & non-alcoholic beverages (6.3% vs 4.9% in May); recreation & culture (5.6% vs 5%); restaurants & hotels (7.6% vs 7.8%) and alcoholic beverages & tobacco (5.9% vs 5.95%).
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.8% in June.
