Opinion Rugova: I can’t remember a drought like this year in Kosovo, this hasn’t happened in 100 years

Meteorologist Mendim Rugova said that “there is no drought like this in Kosovo in memory” this year.

He said on #Gjesi on T7 that this year’s drought in Pristina has not happened in 100 years.

“From what I can see from the records, since 1923, I’m talking about Pristina, not a single drop of rain has been recorded, it hasn’t happened,” said Mendim Rugova.

Since the 80s, when soil moisture measurements have been available, he said that this year’s June was “the driest” ever.
