The Chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, received the Ambassador of Croatia to Kosovo, Daniela Barišić, in a meeting on Wednesday.

As announced by the LDK in a statement, the meeting discussed the latest political developments in the country, with particular emphasis on the situation created as a result of the institutional impasse, which according to the LDK is caused by the lack of political will of the leading party in the country.

Abdixhiku reiterated the urgent need for the formation of functional institutions.

“Mayor Abdixhiku and Ambassador Barišić also discussed the importance of supporting and representing the Croatian community in Kosovo, as well as the need to provide fair and equal services to all citizens of Kosovo, including those at the local level where LDK leads the respective municipality. Mayor Abdixhiku emphasized LDK’s commitment to respecting and protecting the rights of majority and minority communities, as a cornerstone of stability and coexistence in the country. Mayor Abdixhiku also expressed deep gratitude for the continuous support that the friendly state of Croatia has provided to the Republic of Kosovo, especially in the international arena and in integration processes,” the LDK statement said. /Gazeta Express
