Interest in recruitment in the Kosovo Police is growing, around 7 thousand candidates applied for 350 positions

The Kosovo Police has confirmed to Gazeta Express that in the latest competition for the admission of 350 new police officers, which was open from June 17 to July 7, 2025, a total of 6818 candidates applied.

According to official data, the number of female candidates is 1249, while the number of male candidates is 5569.

Compared to the 2023 competition, where a total of 4382 candidates (3696 males and 686 females) applied, this year there is an increase of 2436 applications, which indicates an increased interest in becoming part of the Kosovo Police.

Asked about the current phase of the recruitment process, the Police informed Gazeta Express that: “According to the foreseen procedures, the process is continuing in the application registration phase.”
