“Without justice, there is no peace”, symbolic action in front of the Kosovo Police for the death of Agon Zejnullah

The AVONET Network of Non-Governmental Organizations held a symbolic performance today in front of the Lipjan Police Station, in protest and demand for justice for the death of 27-year-old Agon Zejnullahu.
During the action, activists posted posters at the entrance to the police station with the inscription “The last command gave its breath”, as well as at the courthouse with the message “Without justice, there is no peace”, thus conveying messages about the necessity of institutional accountability.
AVONET has called for a full and impartial investigation into the case, emphasizing that the event has shocked public opinion and raised serious suspicions of human rights violations by police officers.
The performance took place in parallel with the court session being held today at the Basic Court in Pristina – Lipjan Branch, against the five police officers involved in the case. /EO/
