Greece has been having a temporary respite from the scorching heat, with the mercury in Attica falling to 33°C today. But the respite appears temporary, as the weather experts have forecast a new heatwave, which could commence from Sunday, July 13, and could elevate the temperature in areas as high as 40°C. It is advisable that visitors exercise proper precautions to avert heat-related illnesses, particularly during peak heat times, 11:00 AM through 5:00 PM.
