According to the results of the 2024/2025 marketing year (MY), Moldova has become the largest importer of Ukrainian flour, purchasing 23.5 thousand tons, as reported by agronews.ua.

In the export structure of the 2024/2025 MY, the indicator of wheat flour decreased to 66.7 thousand tons, while in the previous season Ukrainian producers supplied 92.5 thousand tons. Approximately 46% of the export volume was accounted for by EU countries.
The top five importers of Ukrainian wheat flour included: Moldova (20.3 thousand tons), Czech Republic (15.3 thousand tons), Palestine (10.8 thousand tons), France (3.0 thousand tons), and Spain (2.9 thousand tons).
As for other types of flour, during the mentioned period Ukraine exported 4.6 thousand tons (compared to 5.4 thousand tons in the 2023/2024 MY). The share of EU countries in terms of export volumes was 14% (compared to 27% in the 2023/2024 MY).
Moldova again led the list of importers with a figure of 3.2 thousand tons. The rest of the volume was supplied to Israel – 0.5 thousand tons, Croatia – 0.2 thousand tons, Bulgaria and Spain – 0.1 thousand tons.
