Serbia’s external trade in goods amounted to around €69.5 billion in 2024, marking an increase of 6.2 percent compared to 2023, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia announced today.
According to the report, total export in goods was €30.5 billio, which is a 6.5 percent increase compared to 2023.
Total import of goods stood at €39 billion, representing a 5.9 percent increase.
The trade deficit stands at €8.5 billion, which is a 3.8 percent increase.
The export-to-import coverage ratio is 78.2 percent, the Statistical Office reported.
Serbia’s largest export destination is Germany, with exports reaching €4.7 billion, followed by Bosnia and Herzegovina with nearly €2 billion, China and Italy with €1.7 billion each, and Hungary with €1.5 billion.
On the import side, Serbia imports the most from China and Germany – around €5 billion each, followed by Italy with €2.7 billion, Turkey with around €2 billion, and Hungary with €1.6 billion.
