Two years after the tragic event, Swiss media View returns with reports on the trial taking place in Kosovo against Swiss citizen KL, accused of murdering his girlfriend, Sofia T., a young woman from Argentina, reports albinfo.ch.
The incident occurred in the summer of 2023 in a hotel in Pristina, where, according to the indictment, after a fierce conflict, he hit her and then pushed her out of a sixth-floor window.
The defense attorney claims that there is no concrete evidence linking KL to the violence in the hotel room and that the victim had consumed psychoactive substances.
However, the prosecution and the deceased’s family insist that this is a serious murder – a femicide. The victim’s parents and the hotel manager testified in the courtroom, while the accused himself declares that he is 100 percent innocent.
