Former Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has published several tables, in which he presented the level of imports from Serbia in the period January-May 2024 and the increase in imports to around 50 million euros in the same period in 2025.

The acting Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati, responded to this, saying that there were more imports from Serbia in 2017 when Avdullah Hoti was Minister of Finance.

Thus, Murat did not dispute the figures published by Hoti, but rather made a comparison.

“Avdullah Hoti asked what is happening with imports from Serbia, and complained that this year imports are higher than the same months last year (when it is known that last year the security measure was in effect after the attack in Banjska).”

“Please tell someone that the import of goods from Serbia this year, however, remains approximately half the value that was imported in 2017, when Avdullah Hoti was Minister of Finance,” Murati said. /Gazeta Express
