The Bar Border Police arrested a Kosovo citizen, MB (50), who is wanted by Kosovo on suspicion of rape, the Police Directorate (UP) announced today.
The statement states that, based on operational information, Bar border police officers checked MB (50).
“A check of the records revealed that an Interpol arrest warrant dated February 14, 2025, was issued for this person, which seeks MB by order of the Basic Court in Peja, for the purpose of conducting criminal proceedings, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of rape in complicity,” the statement said.
The UP said that the Bar border police handed MB over to the Bar Security Department (SB) for further action, and that after informing the state prosecutor, MB was arrested.
