
On the occasion of Belgium’s National Day, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to the newly appointed Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium, Bart De Wever.
In his message, Prime Minister Pashinyan extended warm congratulations to both Mr. De Wever and the people of Belgium, emphasizing the strong ties and shared values between the two nations.
Reflecting on their recent meeting in Brussels, Prime Minister Pashinyan noted the importance of continued collaboration:
“I recall with satisfaction the productive discussion I had with you in Brussels a few days ago. I am hopeful that through joint efforts we will give a new impetus to the further development of relations between our countries, enriching the framework of mutually beneficial cooperation with new strategic directions.”
He also underscored the value of ongoing cooperation on international platforms and expressed gratitude for Belgium’s consistent support in advancing Armenia-EU relations.
“I highly appreciate the cooperation between our countries on international platforms and the continuous support provided by Belgium in deepening the Armenia-EU partnership.”
Concluding his message, Prime Minister Pashinyan conveyed his best wishes for Prime Minister De Wever’s success and for peace and prosperity for the Belgian people.
Belgium celebrates its National Day annually on July 21, commemorating the inauguration of Leopold I as the first King of the Belgians in 1831.
