As the Denver Broncos go into training camp, the offensive lineup features a few new faces.

Quarterback Bo Nix, of course, is returning, as is the team’s entire offensive line. As for the additions, Denver made a splash this spring by signing veteran tight end Evan Engram during NFL free agency. The Broncos also used a second-round draft pick to select running back RJ Harvey, and they later added J.K. Dobbins in the late stages of free agency.

Courtland Sutton is back as the team’s No. 1 receiver, and we have Devaughn Vele listed as the No. 2 for now with Marvin Mims continuing to play in the slot. Pat Bryant, the team’s third-round pick in April’s draft, will be a contender to quickly climb the wide receiver depth chart.

Keep in mind that his projected starting offense is merely a projection, not an official depth chart from the team. Denver is not required to release an official depth chart until preseason begins next month.

Broncos (Projected) Offense

You’ll notice that’s 12 players because we cheated a bit at running back. Instead of choosing between RJ Harvey and J.K. Dobbins, we have them both listed with the starting offense as RB1a and RB1b.

We also list Michael Burton as the starting fullback, but he only played 16% of the offensive snaps last fall, and the Broncos will have three receivers on the field more often than they’ll use a fullback. Denver made the NFL playoffs last season without a big receiving threat at tight end or an explosive running back. After adding some key pieces this offseason, Sean Payton’s squad will look to take another step forward in 2025.
