Court-requested suspect extradited from Germany to Kosovo
Last night, at Pristina International Airport, the Kosovo Police’s warrant management unit carried out the handover of citizen LM, male, 27 years old, who was extradited from the state of Germany.
According to the Kosovo Police, the wanted person was the subject of an order issued by the justice bodies of the Republic of Kosovo for the criminal offense of “Aggravated Theft” – sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison.
“After completing all legal procedures, the person was escorted and handed over to the Hajvali detention center, to serve his sentence,” the announcement states.
It further states that the operation was concluded without any incident and in accordance with professional standards.
It further states that the Kosovo Police continues to strengthen international cooperation to capture wanted persons and to implement the law with high commitment, in the function of public security and the rule of justice.
