A former employee of an online auction company has been arrested for embezzling money.

The suspect, Yuki Ogawa (37), is accused of transferring about 3.8 million yen (around $26,000) from the company’s account to his own.

Ogawa was in charge of running the auction site and also handled accounting. He admitted to the crime, saying he wasn’t being paid enough for the amount of work he did.

The parent company started an investigation after business payments were delayed and discovered the fraud.

The company believes Ogawa stole around 15 million yen (about $100,000) in total. Police are now looking into other possible crimes.

Lol if everyone started doing this because they’re not being paid enough they to would be almost every single company in the news.

“I wasn’t being paid enough for the job I did (to cover for my inability to budget)”

  3. Bro just wired the money directly to his bank account? Might as well just wear a shirt saying “I embezzle this company’s money”
