On July 25, an important meeting took place between the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, and the Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO, U.S. Air Force General Tod D. Wolters. This information was released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the talks, plans by the United States and NATO to supply Ukraine with modern air defense systems, funded by European Union countries, were discussed.

Oleksandr Syrskyi also expressed gratitude to U.S. President Donald Trump and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg for the swift delivery of air defense systems.

The general emphasized that the Ukrainian army remains highly combat-ready, prepared to repel offensive actions by Russian forces.

Recall that on July 14, during a meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, U.S. President Donald Trump announced the intention to produce weapons for Ukraine, with funding provided by European countries. It was also confirmed that the U.S. would allow the shipment of Patriot air defense systems.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg noted that under this agreement, Kyiv could receive a significant number of air defense systems, missiles, and ammunition.
