If you complain about Zach Bryan on social media, he might just see it and clap back.
Even if you are only 14-years-old.
That is the lesson the country music world learned this week after the star hit back at a young fan who posted a couple of videos to TikTok complaining about the singer not taking the time to greet fans after a recent show.
Bryan played MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 19, and the young fan claimed to have waited until the early morning hours outside the stadium hoping for a chance to get a photo with the singer.
“We waited until 4:00 AM,”the fan wrote alongside a since deleted TikTok video that reportedly showed Bryan. “Driving away from his fans that waited 4 hours to meet him; he didn’t even roll down his window to say hi.”
Bryan saw that, according to reports, and he apparently was not happy.
“You’re not entitled after someone plays two and a half hours to a picture or a hello,” he reportedly responded.
He then reportedly added, “GOMD,” which is an acronym that says, “Get Off My (expletive).”
The user answered back, “I’m literally a 14-year-old fan and this video was literally a joke. What a (expletive).”
The exchange created a social media stir with some taking Bryan’s side, but there were plenty others who believed the star was out of line.
“Zach Bryan actually hates his own fans lmao,” one person wrote on X.
“Not that I like his music, but this makes me never want to see him,” another person responded to a Country Chord post about the incident on X. “I’m not going to spend my money on that. I have to like the person enough to wanna see them Live. He’s kinda (poop emoji).”
“Exactly why this dude is the biggest piece of (expletive) in music right now,” another wrote.
“Zach Bryan being a complete douchebag should not surprise absolutely anyone,” another wrote.
It’s not the first time Bryan has been accused of not being the greatest guy and considering that it probably won’t be the last time either. It will be interesting to see if he has anything else to say about the incident.”
