In commemoration of the 14th anniversary of the fall of Hero Enver Zymeri and the Memorial Day of police officers killed in the line of duty, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has organized a series of recreational and sports activities in the northern part of the Republic of Kosovo.
The announcement states that the activities are being held in honor of the lives and work of all members of the Kosovo Police who have fallen in the line of duty, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to security and peace in the country. As part of these activities, a group of runners from different professions and municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo has undertaken a symbolic commemorative walk.
At the beginning of the march, the participants stopped to pay homage at the memorial plaque at the site of the fall of Hero Enver Zymeri, and then continued towards the planned destination. The Ministry of Internal Affairs expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifice of the police officers, reiterating the institutional commitment to honoring and preserving their memory. /Telegrafi/
