Crisis in the real estate market in Kosovo is warned

The former president of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, Safet Gërxhaliu, has raised the alarm about a serious risk that is challenging the local construction sector.
According to him, the real estate market in Kosovo is being driven by speculative goals rather than the real need for housing, while the lack of a secondary property market and growing emigration are creating deep instability.
At a time when politics remains embroiled in crisis, Gërxhaliu emphasizes that silence is unacceptable and the private sector must react. He appeals for the orientation of finances towards the real economy and productive sectors, warning that delays could have irreparable consequences for the country’s economy.
