The draw for the new 2025/26 season in the First Football League of North Macedonia was made today, which will start on August 8, reports Telegrafi.
The new season is awaited with great enthusiasm, not only because of the well-known rivalries, but also because of the new entries and returns to the elite.
For the first time in its history, the Arsimi team from Çegrani in Gostivar will play in the local football elite, proudly representing another hearth of Albanian football. Another good news for Albanian fans is the return of Baksimi from Kumanovo, a name with history and tradition in local football, which returns to add to the beautiful rivalry in the championship.
In addition to these two teams, the season will also be followed by Albanian teams that are already a constant part of the elite: current champion Shkëndija from Tetovo, Struga Trim & Lum and Shkupi.
