You don’t have to be Russian to clone any voice with AI. But then the post title wouldn’t sound so menacing. I get it. The fact remains that the Israelis do it, the Americans, the Chinese, the Koreans, and any Joe Random with access to github. Plenty of Polish hackers do it too.
BBC has gone to shit long time ago but I had hopes recently they had some reason left in them..l I was, apparently, wrong.

Everyone congratulated me on my native-like pronunciation, nobody had any doubts. Turns out it was a voice clone I had created in about two minutes for a couple of cents.
