Drita will host Romanian team FCSB next week in the second leg of the Europa League third qualifying round.

But, Romanians are not feeling so confident about their upcoming visit to our country, writes “Gazeta Express”.

The president of this club, Gigi Becali, has revealed that the Romanian club will be protected by 20 bodyguards after stating that he has heard that security is not at the proper level in Kosovo.

“That’s what they told me, that there is violence there. I heard that threats were made. So we have to go there with bodyguards. I will send about 20 bodyguards to Kosovo, that’s how it should be. I don’t want to say more, I don’t want to insult them, but it’s better this way,” the FCSB president declared on the Romanian sports show “Super League Fanatic” as he talked about the idea of escorting the team by Romanian security.

Further, Becali underlined that there is nothing personal with Drita, but added that he has been informed that the situation in Kosovo requires increased caution in terms of security.

Becali was the protagonist in recent weeks with insulting statements about two Albanian clubs, Drita and Shkëndija, which had eliminated his team in the second qualifying round of the Champions League.

The first match between FCSB and Drita will be played tomorrow night in Romania, while the return match will be played a week later in Pristina. /Express newspaper
