Loma Linda University Health, a leading provider of healthcare to California’s Inland Empire, today announced its EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platform residing at LLUH’s Primary Data Center and Disaster Recovery Site has earned certified status by HITRUST for information security.

HITRUST i1 Certification demonstrates that the organization’s EPIC EMR installation is leveraging a set of curated controls to protect against current and emerging threats. The HITRUST i1 Validated Assessment and Certification helps organizations address cybersecurity challenges and remain cyber resilient over time.

“HITRUST i1 Certification gives our internal and external stakeholders confidence that we are in constant pursuit of leading security practices,” said Patrick Voon, Executive Director of Information Security for Loma Linda University Health. “Pursuing strong cybersecurity is critical to our organization and partners. The certification helps us learn and benchmark our progress towards high cybersecurity standards and practices.”
